S.F.A.C.A.
SCHOOL FOR ALL
CHILDREN ACT
National Chapter

We are excited to announce that the S.F.A.C.A. has added a Texas state
chapter and a local chapter in Natalia, Texas. The previously existing
branch of the S.F.A.C.A. has now become the National chapter.

Due to these changes the S.F.A.C.A. can be more effective in fighting
against educational neglect. The National chapter will focus its efforts on
Federal law and continuing the pursuit to achieve a Federal protectable right
to an education and an equal quality of education. Our State and local
chapters can focus on educating the public on the different types of
educational neglect caused by local and state laws as well as working to
create partnerships with other organizations that have an interest in
    bettering public education.

The National chapter has begun a project comparing the data from the CDC
on sexually transmitted diseases with the states that mandate medically
accurate sex education versus states that don't. We will then be comparing
this to states that teach primarily abstinence only versus states that focus on
contraception. We will also be researching how state's policies regarding sex
education have changed and comparing that to data from years past from the
CDC. It is the goal of the S.F.A.C.A. to put this data in a format that will be
acceptable in a court of law that can be presented as evidence that not
teaching medically accurate sex education puts a child at unnecessary risk in
order to legally classify it as neglect.
